Brussels, June 15th, 2012. On May 31st, AMARC Europe participated to the 35th EPRA (European Platform of Regulatory Authorities) meeting, which took place in Portorož, Slovenia, on the invitation of the Post and Electronic Communication Agency of the Republic of Slovenia (APEK). A special focus has been devoted to the working group about “Local and Community Media” coordinated by Bernard Dubuisson from the Belgian CSA.
Kathmandu, June 6th 2012. Nepal’s deadline for writing a new constitution expired on May 29, 2102 without promulgating a constitution. The constitution assembly as well as parliament are dissolved and new elections declared. Ensuing political confusion has increased concerns for freedom of expression.
